In spite of most adverse conditions in the aftermath of the Great War, Johannes Watzlawczik founds a wholesale business in Breslau. In the early years, shelves at the “Johannes Watzlawczik Drogen- und Farbwaren Agenturen” held only a small variety of shellac mattings, lacquers, as well as all sorts of odds and ends for joinery supplies.
